Congratulations to University of Colorado Denver on receiving a $5,000 Scholarship Grant from the Gene Haas Foundation! Mark Smith, Productivity-Denver presented the check (pictured above) to 14 of UCD’s 19 team members of their Lynx Motorsports Formula SAE competition team at the Auraria campus.

“The team has 19 team members, both electrical and mechanical engineering students. The instructors (not pictured) are Doug Gallagher and Joe Cullen. This team was building a Formula styled race car as part of a senior design class required for all graduating seniors broken up into two semesters. A design semester and a build semester. The team will be racing the car in the Formula SAE competition this June in Lincoln Nebraska.”  – Lisa Picard, Student and Team Captain, UCD.
